The rosters for the 2016 NHL All-Star Game in Nashville have been announced. Sabres Alternate Captain Ryan O’Reilly will represent Buffalo in his first career appearance. He will be a member of Team Atlantic Division, captained by Jaromir Jagr and coached by Gerard Gallant, both of the Florida Panthers.
O’Reilly has been Buffalo’s most consistent player all season and is on track to have the best year of his still young career, with 16 goals and 18 assists for 34 points in 40 games. Also on Team Atlantic Division is Boston’s Patrice Bergeron, Toronto’s Leo Komarov, Detroit’s Dylan Larkin, Tampa Bay’s Steven Stamkos and Ben Bishop, Florida’s Aaron Ekblad and Roberto Luongo, Ottawa’s Erik Karlsson and Montreal’s PK Subban.
In addition, Team Metropolitan Division will be captained by Alexander Ovechkin and coached by Barry Trotz, both of Washington, Team Central Division will be captained by Chicago’s Patrick Kane and coached by Dallas’ Lindy Ruff and Team Pacific Division will be captained by Arizona’s John Scott (no, seriously) and coached by Los Angeles’ Darryl Sutter.
The All-Star Game will be Sunday, January 31st 2016 in the Predator’s Bridgestone Arena. Keep up with as at FromThe300Level.com for more updates later on, and, as always, tweet (@FromThe300Level)!
