Over the past week and a half, we’ve asked you, our readers, to put together the best starting lineup that the MLB can put on one field, one player at a time. We did our research, we asked you on Twitter, and you voted. Here’s the team that you voted to be best of Major League Baseball. (Reminder: please don’t direct any angry tweets at us if you don’t like the results, this was 100% fan voted).

C: Buster Posey- Giants (2012 NL MVP) 42% vote.

1B: Paul Goldschmidt- Diamondbacks (2013 NL Hank Aaron award) 58% vote.

2B: Dustin Pedroia- Red Sox (2008 AL MVP) 41% vote.

SS: Xander Bogaerts- Red Sox (2015 Silver Slugger) 77% vote.

3B: Manny Machado- Orioles (3x All-Star) 37% vote.

OF: Yoenis Cespedes- Mets (2x Home Run Derby winner) 54% vote.

OF: Mike Trout- Angels (2014 AL MVP)  54% vote.

OF: Bryce Harper- Nationals (2015 NL MVP) 60% vote.

DH: David Ortiz- Red Sox (500 HR club member) 71% vote.

RHP: Jake Arrieta- Cubs (2015 NL Cy Young Award) 43% vote.

LHP: Clayton Kershaw- Dodgers (3x NL Cy Young Award) 50% vote.

Between these 12 players are some whopping combined accolades. Among this lineup, there are 5 MVP awards, 4 Rookie of the Year awards, 4 Cy Young awards, 4 Hank Aaron awards, 18 Silver Sluggers, 10 Gold Gloves and 44 All-Star selections along with numerous others. The NL narrowly edged out the AL in terms of representation, 6-5. Every player chosen with the exception of Pedroia was an All-Star this year (Pedroia was a Final Vote candidate but missed out).

225 total votes were cast over this process. Thank you to all of our readers who voted via our Twitter page (@FromThe300Level).
