On Tuesday, the Bills made a move in free agency picking up LB Jelani Jenkins. Jenkins, 25, a former fourth round pick in 2013, has previously spent time with the LA Raiders and Miami Dolphins. He was a 3 year starter at Florida for the Gators. From the span of 2013 to 2016, Jenkins ranked second in tackles for the Dolphins, trailing only S Reshad Jones. This season will be his 5th in the league. To make room for this signing, the Bills have released CB Greg Mabin.

In other news, the Bills also signed WR Malachi Dupre to their practice squad. Dupre, 21, was selected in the 7th round of this year’s draft by the Green Bay Packers. He played his college football for the LSU Tigers, where he racked up 1,609 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns in his 3 years playing ball there. To make room for his spot on the practice squad, the Bills released WR Daikiel Shorts.
